Porte Maillot is located in the west of Paris between the Arc de Triomphe and the Champ- Elysées and ” La Défense “ business district.
The district has many attractions for visitors:
- Firstly, the Palais des Congrès which is an important economic and cultural center within Paris.
It is the venue for national and international trade fairs and congresses but also houses 80 shops, tea rooms and 4 cinemas.
- Just 5 minutes walk from the hotel you can shop for clothes, sports equipment, cultural products or home accessories in the avenue des Ternes area where you will find plenty of French shops and international brands.
If you want to stop and have a drink or grab a bite to eat there are lots of traditional Parisian cafés and trendy bars.
And there is also a large choice of traditional French or international restaurants, many of which are open every day.
If you want to exercise there is a fitness centre and spa Club Med Gym close to the hotel.
Or if you want a break from the city you can relax or go jogging in the Bois de Boulogne, a huge park in the west of Paris, 2 mn walk.
